How to wash silk clothing can make it always new and prolong its life effectively. Maybe everyone only knows that washing water with ph=7 is gentle and not harmful, but simply knowing these is not enough.

2. Washing liquid: Be sure to use silk wool or silk cashmere laundry detergent
3. Washing method: never rub.
4. Drying method: dry it in a cool and ventilated place with natural

Do the above four points, All your silk clothes/bedding can be washed, how to do it?

1st is the water temperature. It must be hand-washed in cold water, because silk is a natural protein fiber. The silk spit out by silkworms must not be washed with hot water, because the silk spit out by silkworms is quite delicate, and hot water will make it lost active.

2nd is the choice of washing liquid, choose silk wool or silk cashmere washing liquid. The washing liquid is soaked in water and fully melted into the basin, rather than poured directly on the silk clothes, so that the part of the washing liquid that comes into contact with the silk fabric will corrode it and turn white. Remember, the washing liquid must be dissolved in water. And must not use soap, shampoo also not recommended. Washing is the correct way to open, just like washing vegetables, after washing, use clean water to clean the remaining washing liquid, and then you can pick it up.

After picking it up, shake it a little. It is best to use a clothes drying rod to dry it flat, so that it will feel flat after drying. Then use a hanging iron to iron it. The most important thing is, don't put it under the sunlight directy, must insure to dry it in a cool and ventilated place.

Based on silk fiber and silk fabric features, we do not recommend machine wash. Machine wash do decrease the silk lifetime and silk shiny. If consumers do not mind, wash with laundry bag, and turn shiny side into inside then wash, that is fine.
